Real Beauty

Last spring I photographed the wedding of Amelia and Thad Luckinbill (better known to The Young and the Restless Fans as Victoria and JT). They were married in Greenough, Montana at The Resort at Paws Up. They had a beautiful private ceremony with friends and family. Their guests enjoyed horse-drawn wagon rides through the snow and all the activiites the resort has to offer.

One of my images of Amelia is featured in the current issue of Modern Bride (Feb issue) in the Real Bride, Real Beauty section.

Modern Bride!

Last summer I photographed Zack and Shawna's wedding in Nye, Montana. It was gorgeous and one of my all-time favorite weddings! They worked for over a year, planning and putting their hearts and muscle into making their vision a reality. The photographs from the wedding are featured in the newest issue of Modern Bride Magazine.

I had a great time getting to know Shawna and Zack during the planning of the wedding and I am now proud to call them friends!

Cortney and Dan

Last weekend I photographed Cortney and Dan's wedding at The Gallatin Gateway Inn in Montana. They had a beautiful fall ceremony with gorgeous fall colors and sprinklings of gold and copper. What a great couple! Their love and devotion to each other was clear.

Darcy and Chris

Darcy and Chris were married last Saturday in the Paradise Valley at their ranch, Warbonnet Creek . They incorporated the Groom's Scottish heritage into the celebration with the family's tarten, Scottish Thistle and Heather. The beautiful day gave way to a fabulous evening featuring music by Bozeman's Greatest: Ten Foot Tall and 80 Proof

Carrie and Erik

Carrie and Erik were married last week at Springhill Pavillion, overlooking the Gallatin Valley. A refreshing rain shower gave way to a beautiful day with bright blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Carrie and Erik had a blast celebrating with their dog "Briko" and their families and friends.

Big Sky Honeymoon

New York couple, Kelly and Darren, who were married last weekend, chose The WD Ranch in Melville Montana for their honeymoon. They asked me to join them for the morning, photographing them playing under The Big Sky.

Faye and Wyatt!

Faye and Wyatt were married last weekend during a beautiful ceremony, centered in nature, at The Woodlands at Cottonwood Canyon. It was a perfect summer evening in the meadow. A fabulous dinner by Frank's Catering followed the cocktail hour, carrying on the subtle Italian theme inspired by the bride and groom's recent trip to Italy.

Saturday July 21st Letia and Matt finally tied the knot after nine years together!



This Beverly Hills couple had an elegant ceremony along the Gallatin River at the Rainbow Ranch in Big Sky, Montana followed by a delicious meal as only the chef at the Rainbow Ranch can prepare. Next this fun-loving bunch kicked up their heels and kept the dance floor smokin'.

Letia was a stunning bride and just as much fun as she was beautiful, ditto for Matt :) We had a great time with the pictures, never a dull moment with these two!

I think their personalities shine through in the photographs, take a look for yourself...

Fun in the Hot July Sun

Jana and Jared

07.07.07 - the biggest wedding day (and possibly the hottest!) of the century... I was photographing Jana and Jared in Great Falls, Montana.





The ceremony was held at The Holy Family Catholic Church, a great old church built in the 1930's with beautiful architecture. After the ceremony we hopped aboard the Great Falls Historic Trolley which took us for a little drive around town stopping along the Missouri River for a champagne toast and finally to the reception at the fairgrounds.

I have become aware of a 24 hour blogathon which is dedicated to raising funds to send a group of well known photographers to mentor some young adults in some of the poorest, most remote parts of Africa. Heather and Brent - The Slideshow

Here it is... the whole story!

Heather and Brent

Last Friday two great families came together in Beaver Creek, Colorado to unite Heather and Brent. It was an intimate affair lovingly shared with their immediate families.








Heather looked so elegant in her gorgeous lace gown and Brent was quite dapper in his suit and gold tie (it matched Heather's sash!). She has snagged a real gentleman.







After the ceremony we trekked around shooting in only a few of the amazing spots we found around Beaver Creek. Afterward we headed up the Mountain to Beano's Cabin Restaurant where we were met at the door by two big porcupines begging for leftovers! What a trip!



The guests were treated to an amazing meal and nearly missed the first dance when Heather and Brent quietly got up from the table and began dancing in a quiet corner.

Bethany and Spencer

Well, here we go...



I'm so excited to kick off my blog with the introduction of a couple that is close to my heart, Bethany and Spencer. They had a beautiful Montana ranch wedding on the Cooney Brothers Ranch, 30 miles north of Big Timber. The guests enjoyed a beautiful garden wedding at The Old Cookhouse and then loaded up for a wagon ride to The Red Shed for a pitchfork fondue and dance that rocked the shed into the wee hours. A great time was had by all!
